Yes, I won a slot to go to Ironman Hawaii. I just put in for it and got it first time out. There are 150 slots and tens of thousands of applicants and I got lucky the first time out. It's unheard of and awesome and oh crap, I really need to train up because Oct 13, 2007 will be serious A game time.
so we rebuilt a beehive that had been at my dad's house so we could move the bees at his place over into it. The day we were to go over to pick up the bees, this happens:
Yes, a local spring swarm that had it's scouts found our empty hive and told her friends, "You are not going to believe what a great place I found." So, the bees swarmed in and now, through no action or effort, we have populated our beehive. If you build it... indeed. And years ago I laughed at someone when they said, "what, do you just build a beehive and they just show up?".
